I am a professor of molecular plant pathology at University of Delaware, where I have been now for 16 years (wow!). I have also spent some time being a rotator in the Plant Biotic Interactions program at NSF, and most recently, as a Science Expert at NSF in a different program. I truly enjoy outreach, and have been engaged in APS for many years in many different ways including subject matter committees, the executive council lineage of my home division, the Potomac, and being a regular member, and then the Director, of OPRO. I am happy to now be Councilor-at-Large for APS! In my "other" life, I am a horseback rider and spend lots of time with my little appaloosa, as well as riding my friends' horses!
